Po raz pierwszy udało mi się na żywo zobaczyć zrealizowany projekt Santiago Calatrava. Hiszpański architekt był jednym z moich ulubieńców podczas zajęć z architektury współczesnej,tak więc wizyta na tym dworcu kolejowym była dla mnie ogromną ucztą. Kosmiczna struktura, przejmujący ziąb styczniowego dnia i zalegający na ogromnych żebrowaniach śnieg potęgował wrażenie przebywania w "Innej- Nie_z_tej_Ziemi" przestrzeni.

For the first time I was able to see the completed project of Santiago Calatrava with my own eyes . Spanish architect was one of my favorites during the course of modern architecture, so a visit to the railway station was a huge treat. Space structure, chilly wind ( it was January) and piles of snow on parts of the construction intensified the feeling of being in the "Other-space".

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. They show very well how impressive architecture can be . I like them all but especially the one with the bird! The contrast between the straight lines and the organic form of the bird.
